Our trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida!

This is Evan at the beach with us!
We just came back from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we had a lot of fun doing a bunch of free things that were amazing.
The first morning we were there we dropped my dad off at the university and went to Hollywood Beach. The jellyfish were everywhere and everybody except Mom and Evan were stung. The beach was amazing, the water was very clear, and it was so windy!

This is one of the many trails we went on in Everglades National Park!
One day we went to Everglades National Park. There we saw two big alligators, alligator gar, and anhingas. The first alligator we saw we thought at first was a tire because its tail was slightly curled and was on the trail. When we got up there, we realized it was a giant alligator and we ran past it up the trail.

Air plants!
Us at the beach it was so windy!
The next day we went to a birding trail that was really close to the beach and as we were going to the parking lot an iguana about three feet long ran across the road and into the woods. As soon as we go onto one of their trails, we started seeing these small crabs and they were everywhere. Next, we got to a gazebo over a brackish lake and when I looked into the water I saw a yellow and black puffer fish in the lake then we noticed alligator gar. When we went onto the second trail, we saw ibis trying to eat crabs and we heard a popping sound and later we were told that they were snapping shrimp and they were trying to defend themselves from the ibis. Overall the trip was amazing and I hope we can go back soon !
This is the alligator we thought was a tire!
We saw the Goodyear blimp leaving the beach from the interstate!

The super long 15 mile trail in the Everglades- but we only went about 5 miles there and back!
I found a wild coconut on our way out of the state park !

Ian found this scary hornet's nest and my mom almost ran into it!

This is a splash pad that was at the beach.
This is the iguana that ran across the road !

We saw someone almost fall in the water to take a picture up close of this turtle

Cool lizard we found and caught!

Summer time!

Here is one of Evan's first smiles while we were doing the laundry!

I have had a very good summer so far.The only thing I have had to do for school is math. I had to restart my math at the end of April. I have almost completed the whole hundred and twenty lessons. I had to do three lessons a day before my mom had the baby then I did two a day when mom had the baby and for the last few weeks I have been doing four a day. Now I appreciate only having to do one lesson a day! I have been doing one test, four lessons, 10 review problems and four sets of lesson problems per day. It has been so hard doing math and helping mom with the baby and we haven't been out of the house much because the baby hasn't had his shots yet but he will get them soon. After Evan gets his shots we are gladly going to go to Birmingham Alabama and to the zoo.
Here is a picture of Evan from a few days ago.

Evan the baby!

Evan!

My Mom just had Evan her fifth child on Thursday night, he was seven pounds eleven ounces. Mom did not want to have a c-section but the day before Mom had the baby we had to go to the ER because Mom wasn't feeling him move. Even though he was fine Mom thought that she should go ahead and just have a c section. So it has been very crazy for a few days.
Evan is usually sleeping but when he is awake he keeps his eyes open and is looking at everything.

We are all very excited about our new baby brother and he will be very fun to play with when he is older. For now I will help my mom take care of the baby.
Evan when we first brought him home!

My Visit to Houston,TX !

This is my brother and I in Menchies.
We just came back from Houston last night. We were very excited about it because we like to do so many things there. We went to this place called Torchys tacos it is a very good Texas chain and we eat there when we are visiting. We also went to this frozen yogurt shop called Menchies.

On the last day we went to St. Arnold's Brewery were my dad sold his stuff all day.

This time since my Mom is about to have a baby she didn't want to come so Wes, my Dad, and I are the only ones that went.  It was very different because usually we drop my Dad off then we start going to thrift stores, the zoo, or a park but this time we stayed with my Dad the whole day.

Torchys is so good here is a picture of one of their many good tacos!

Knoxville, TN

We just came back from Knoxville,Tennessee. One of the places we went to was this place called  Mckay Books  it was this giant warehouse full of books it was like a thrift store but it was books, DVDs, and records. I got a Far Side comic book I try to find them when we go to thrift stores.
Another place we went to was VG's bakery we go there for baked goods. We found this bakery while at Pioneer House. We would go to the farmers market behind Pioneer House and ever since when we go to Knoxville we always try to go there and get some thing because there is not a good bakery like that around where we live. We were so tired in Knoxville because we had only been in our house four days before we were on another trip but we shouldn't have any more trips for awhile because mom is having the baby in May!
This is a picture of Mckay Books.
This is what my little brother and sister Ian and Vivian ate.

Bay Beach Animal Rescue!

This is the Alpha of the five wolves and it was fed first!
In Green Bay Wisconsin we had to find things to do. One of the things we did was go to this wildlife sanctuary that had rescued birds and animals from Wisconsin. A few of the animals they had were bald and golden eagles, many different owls, grey wolves, a mountain lion, red foxes, otters, and two bobcats. Bay Beach wildlife sanctuary was very interesting and there were lots of trails to go on.  We saw a family of bald eagles that were free and living on the trail. If we ever go back to Green Bay Wisconsin I would go back there.
At the animal refuge there was a frozen lagoon and the Canadian geese would go on the ice with the ducks it was very neat but we didn't have to cross the lagoon to see the animals because there was a bridge we asked someone if they thought it would be safe to cross the lagoon and she said it would not be because it had been warmer recently and we asked her if the bay was still frozen enough to walk on because earlier we had seen people walking on the bay with their dogs and she said she lived on the bay and they must be crazy because there could be cracks that were not visible.
These are the red foxes that my sister liked and they were so small compared to the big grey wolves.
This is the frozen lagoon that you could almost walk on if it was just a little colder !

Coding!

One of the things I love about travelling, is that I get to learn about new things. When we went to Austin we heard some of the other kids talking about a coding website called Code.org. It is a very fun website that teaches you about coding. At first, you learn simple tasks such as making characters  move on the screen or move through a maze.

Now the program is allowing me to create games and apps. My brother,Wes, was having so much fun coding that it made me want to do it as well. Now it is one of my favorite things to do. Coding is very interesting and helps you understand the work behind programming. Code teaches you how to make games, apps, websites and many other things. I have already completed course two and almost finished course three.

Code.org has many courses and games to help you learn about coding! It is very easy to learn so even my younger siblings are doing it.

The only problem with that is someone is always on the computer and I have to wait so long for my turn. Coding has so many possibilities, I wonder where it will lead me. I made a little game, it is like Flappy Bird.

Our trip to Disney World!

Our first roller coaster ride!

My sister and I after breakfast in Cinderellas Castle!

We went to Disney World  in October, it was so much fun! A few of my favorite rides we went on were Thunder Mountain,Test Track, and Speed Way. We went to all the parks except water parks. We had a lot of fun, the food was pretty good and we stayed at Pop Century. I had gone to Disney World before but I was 4 so I don't remember most of it.
We would go to the parks as soon as they would open and stay there all day! One of our first roller coasters we went on was Splash Mountain and it broke down after the big drop and we had to get out of our logs we were sitting in and it didn't work for the rest of the day! One of the scariest roller coasters I went on was Expedition Everest because you go backwards very fast but even though you know its coming you still start screaming the whole time and eventually I just closed my eyes and hoped it wouldn't break down.  One other thing about the ride that was scary was that before you go down backwards you see over the mountain that you are on and people are waving to you and you are waiting for it to go backwards very fast! Even though the ride was scary I still went on it three times because I thought it was fun.  The last time I rode it I was in the fourth cart but I didn't know that if your up front you could see over the mountain and that was pretty scary!

Why I like arcades.

                     Here's dad playing Starwars

Here's Vivian playing centipede

I like arcades because they're fun and and I like the sounds they make.  Here are some of my favorite arcade games, Mr Do, Pac Man, Centipede. Starwars, pin ball, Tron, Space Invaders and those are most of my favorites arcade games  I just went to Pinballz arcades in Austin Texas and I like pin ball arcade more than Flipper Mccoys because Pinballz arcade has more older arcade games than Flipper Mccoys.

You should play some arcade games! Also in Pinballz arcade they had my favorites and also they had Super Pac Man, Time Pilot, Frogger,batman,Spider-Man pinball ,Star Trek pinball, Starwars pin ball and a race cars game, Those are most of the games that I played at Pinballz arcade and I destroyed the Death Star in Starwars.
